Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 25, 2026. MoodFur is built for children, so we collect as little as possible.
The short version
Mood check-ins, notes, and history are stored on your child's device. We do not sell data, we do not show ads, and MoodFur has no chat, feed, or other users.
Information we collect
Check-in data — the moods, optional notes, and calm-tool activity your child records. This stays on the device unless you choose to export or back it up through your own iCloud settings.
Support messages — if you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.
Basic diagnostics — anonymous crash and performance reports provided by Apple, which are not linked to your child's identity.
What we do not collect
No name-based accounts for children, no contacts, no precise location, no photos, no advertising identifiers, and no behavioral tracking across other apps or websites.
Children's privacy
MoodFur is intended to be set up by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond the on-device check-in data described above. If you believe we have received a child's personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share data only when required by law, or with service providers strictly necessary to operate support email.
Your choices
You can delete all check-in data at any time in Settings → Mood History → Delete all check-ins. Deleting the app also removes its on-device data. To request deletion of support correspondence, email support@moodfur.app.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and the date above, and note the change in the app.
